This class is for the pregnant student who has never done yoga before, or the student who can no longer do a regular yoga class.
The yoga poses and the breathing exercises are all modified to suit the needs of the changing body and deep relaxation is practiced lying on hour side instead of your back.
This class helps the student to:
- maintain (or improve) flexibility and muscle tone
- regulates digestion and elimination
- improves energy levels
- lowers stress
- increases a sense of overall wel-being.
Breathing and meditation techniques, combined with the improved body awareness and control can help to make the birthing an easier more positive experience for mother and child.
